About the position

In the role of a personal assistant, you will primarily help the customer with everything that arises in their daily life. Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Functional Impairments). Every person granted assistance is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the customer's needs. You respect the customer's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making daily life run smoothly.

To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good chemistry between you as an assistant and the customer. Each assistance is unique, and it is the customer's individual needs that dictate what you will do and how the working hours will look.

At Humana, it is important that both you as a new assistant and the customer feel secure in your collaboration with each other. Therefore, all new assistants receive a tailored introduction, both to the professional role and to the specific customer you will be working with.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following:

• wants to work with a man in his 50s living in Mockfjärd

• has good knowledge of Swedish

• is smoke-free during working hours

• has a B driver's license and access to a car (needed to get to the workplace)

• is tolerant of pets

It is also advantageous if you:

• have experience from previous work in personal assistance

• are available to work as a substitute during the spring

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours and degree of employment

The working hours with the customer are scheduled in 12-hour shifts between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM, both weekdays and weekends. During the summer period, there is an opportunity to work up to 3 shifts/week on the schedule. It is desirable to also be able to work as a substitute if needed during the spring. There may be opportunities to work night shifts from 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM later on, but this is not currently applicable.

Start date

There is a need for substitutes with the customer already now, please indicate in your application if this is of interest to you and when you would be able to start. The start date for the summer position will otherwise be agreed upon.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present a valid ID and any documents that confirm your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
