Our labor market operations are in an exciting phase of development. The introduction of the new activity requirement creates changed conditions for both residents of Falun and businesses. To meet this need, we need to further develop our working methods, strengthen our processes, and ensure that our efforts meet the requirements we must adhere to. With us, you will be part of an organization that will evolve and adapt to the new requirements.

To meet the new requirements, we need to expand our unit with 6 labor market consultants, provided that the necessary decisions are made.

Job Responsibilities

We work from the conviction that labor market preparedness is best developed in real work environments, with clear demands, frameworks, and meaningful activities. Our mission is to support residents of Falun towards work and self-sufficiency – always with confidence in the individual's ability and with the labor market as a clear goal.

The work is practical and relationship-oriented. You will move around the different districts of Falun daily and have close contact with both residents, employers, colleagues, and partners. You will spend your working hours out in various workplaces and group activities where we, together with the residents, create conditions for learning, development, and labor market preparedness.

Your main task is to create change for the residents you work with, with work and self-sufficiency as the overarching goal. The role includes:

• Supporting residents individually and in groups towards work or studies
• Collaborating with residents to create realistic and sustainable solutions based on the individual's circumstances, labor market opportunities, and societal demands
• Ensuring that the efforts are perceived as meaningful through participation, clarity, and co-creation
• Building and maintaining contacts with employers in both the private and public sectors
• Being out in the field – following up, supporting, and coaching residents at practice and workplaces as well as in group activities
• Collaborating closely with colleagues, other organizations, and authorities to create the best possible conditions

You actively work to ensure that residents can see work as their goal, understand what steps have been taken, and what steps remain.

Qualifications

The following is required for the role:

• Post-secondary education in, for example, behavioral science, social work, or other equivalent education
• Driver's license (B)

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience working with group activities
• Experience working with individuals who need close support, such as those with mental health issues, language challenges, or neuropsychiatric disabilities
• Labor market knowledge through work with employers, business, or network building

Employment Conditions

Permanent full-time employment.
