We are looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant for a happy and social guy in his 35s with Down syndrome, living in his own apartment in Borlänge. He has a big heart, a great sense of humor, and an active life – and now we need someone who wants to help make his everyday life both safe and fun.

About him

He loves:

• Music – especially hard rock

• Theater and revue (he participates in Revyresan)

• Youtube and TV nights

• Bowling

• Cycling

• The gym

• Taking the bus

On weekdays, he participates in daily activities.

About the job

The work involves a lot of motivating and supporting him to get started with activities, both at home and outside. He uses a unique language with signs that you will learn. You will also help him with everything at home, including:

• Hygiene, showering, and toilet visits

• Cooking and household chores

• Structure in everyday life

The shifts are day and night, and the position is 65%.

• Comfortable working closely with a person and assisting with personal care

• Experience in similar work is an advantage, but personal chemistry is the most important.
