We are looking for

an engaged parish priest who wants to develop together in a community with a big heart. You are an important part of the team in Mora Parish. We have three districts; Mora, Sollerön/Venjan, and Våmhus, which collaborate and strengthen each other. The hospital chaplaincy is also included.

Your Responsibilities

As a parish priest, you are responsible for church services, lead worship, and develop the worship life in the parish. Moving forward, we wish to further develop the confirmation work. Currently, we have adventure confirmation classes in the summer, work with the Messy Church concept, pastoral services, and pilgrimages. Here, you are a key player in our team.

There is great opportunity to influence the content of the position and contribute to our activities with your specific skills and interests. There is also the possibility to combine with some time as a hospital priest or leadership as a district manager.

The work extends across the entire parish.

Your Profile

You are an ordained priest in the Church of Sweden. In addition, we place great importance on your personal qualities.

We are looking for someone who has passion and heart for the people who live and work here. You work independently but also enjoy being a team player and thinking outside the box. You are positive, secure, action-oriented, and solution-focused as a person. You build relationships both within and outside the parish and create engagement and participation through your inspiring leadership.

Requirements for the position are that you have good language skills in Swedish, where you can express yourself well in both speech and writing, and have a driver's license.
