Rehabilitation Assistant to KommunRehab

We are now looking for a rehabilitation assistant to KommunRehab with a focus on special housing.

Kommunrehab is responsible for rehabilitation within home healthcare, special housing, LSS, and social psychiatry as well as short-term stays. The unit consists of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, and assistive technology coordinators working closely together.

Job Responsibilities

As a rehabilitation assistant, you will participate in the assessments and interventions of occupational therapists and physiotherapists, for example, during the trial of assistive devices, assessment of function and mobility, and during home visits. You will perform delegated tasks from occupational therapists and physiotherapists, such as functional training, mobility training, and activity training, as well as participate in the trial and adjustment of simpler assistive devices.

All tasks are preceded by an assessment by an occupational therapist or physiotherapist and are carried out under the supervision of the respective professional group. The position also includes assistive device management, such as transportation and exchange of assistive devices, as well as work in the assistive device storage.

Qualifications

The following are required for the role:

• You are a certified nursing assistant with several years of experience and a strong interest in the field of rehabilitation
• Driver's license (B)

You work in a structured manner, both independently and in close collaboration with occupational therapists and physiotherapists. To thrive in this role, you are engaged and have good teamwork skills. You meet people in various situations in a professional and respectful manner.

Personal suitability is highly valued.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience as a rehabilitation assistant
• Experience in geriatrics and dementia diseases

Employment Conditions

This is a permanent position with immediate start according to agreement.
