About the position

As a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in their daily life. Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). Each person granted assistance is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You will respect the client's self-determination and privacy, contributing to a smooth daily life. The client's individual needs will guide your workday, which may include assistance with mobility, personal care, training and communication, as well as daily chores and activities inside and outside the home.

To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important to have good chemistry between you as an assistant and the client. Each assistance is unique, and the client's individual needs will dictate what you do and how the working hours look. During the recruitment process, we will therefore find out more about you and who you are to be able to find a mutual match between you and the client. You will be informed during the recruitment process about which client(s) you will be working with and what the work routines look like there.

At Humana, it is important that both you as a new assistant and the client feel secure in your collaboration with each other. Therefore, all new assistants receive a tailored introduction, both to the professional role and to the specific client you will be working with.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following:

• wants to work with a man in his 30s residing in Malung

• has good knowledge of Swedish

• has experience from previous work in personal assistance or healthcare

It is also meritorious if you:

• have experience with epilepsy

• have a B driver's license and access to a car

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours and employment rate

The working hours with the client are scheduled with active time at all hours of the day. The schedule is varied, with day, evening, and night shifts occurring both on weekdays and weekends. During the summer period, there is an opportunity to work approximately 25-30 hours/week. It is desirable to also be able to work as a substitute when needed during the spring.

Start date

There may be an opportunity to start earlier and work as a substitute before the summer position begins. Please indicate in your application if this is of interest to you and when you would be available to start. The schedule for the summer position extends from week 26-34.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
