Description

We are looking for a qualified social worker with experience working within social services, particularly in open care.

The position is part of our Resource Team to meet the transition to the new Social Services Act focusing on preventive work and offering early interventions without assistance decisions.

The Resource Team currently consists of four practitioners who work with open care treatment for children and families, as well as adults with addiction issues, and also provide services to adults with other social problems.

The Resource Team is part of the Individual and Family Care in Orsa Municipality. The Individual and Family Care is organized within a unit with a total of 18 employees. In addition to the Resource Team, there is the Adult Group that handles financial assistance, domestic violence, and addiction issues, as well as the Children and Youth Group that handles child cases, which also includes family home secretaries. Within the unit, there are also budget and debt advisors. All work closely together on cases that involve multiple areas.

Job Responsibilities

As a social worker within the Resource Team, you will participate in the preventive work together with the rest of the team. This includes close collaboration with the region's services BVC/MVC in the form of cooperation according to the work model “2 Barnsäkert 2”. In addition, you will be involved in collaboration in our SSPF team and our school social team where we have a close partnership with the school's student health services.

You will also work with treatment interventions and, together with colleagues, develop the work of offering early interventions for those seeking various forms of support. Even though interventions are offered without assistance decisions, it will also involve working with interventions that have been granted after investigations on behalf of the authority within IFO.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work and who has worked with similar tasks in open care. It is desirable that you also have experience working within social services with authority exercise to understand the boundaries that can be challenging in preventive work.

The social services sector includes elderly care with special housing and home care, special care for people with disabilities, individual and family care (IFO), the labor market unit (AME), and the nutrition unit.

The Individual and Family Care works with support and advice for children, youth, and their families, people with addiction issues, financial assistance, and certain interventions for people with mental disabilities.
