ABOUT THE POSITION

Vi Omsorg is looking for several engaged and reliable personal assistants for our client living in Orsa. We offer three positions with a fixed schedule of approximately 30 hours per week. Additionally, we are also looking for substitutes who can work as needed, for example during the absence of regular staff.

As a personal assistant to our client, you will work both weekdays and weekends, with shifts scheduled during daytime and evening hours.

Start date will be agreed upon, but we hope you can begin your introduction as soon as possible.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a man in his late 40s living with ataxia, which affects coordination and balance. In daily life, the client uses various aids, such as a shower chair, electric and manual wheelchairs, and a turner for transfers. He is also fed through a feeding tube.

As a personal assistant, you will help the client in daily life, which may include:

• Assisting with daily routines such as household chores
• Assisting with personal hygiene and dressing

The client lives in a house with his family, which consists of a wife and three children. Therefore, it is important that you as an assistant have a good sense of balance and can be a natural part of the family's daily life when needed, but also be able to step back and give the family space when they want to spend time together alone.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in working with people and the ability to notice and understand the needs of others. You are attentive, calm, and confident in yourself, and thrive in a familiar and close working environment.

Previous experience as a personal assistant is an advantage but not a requirement – the most important thing is that you and our client have good chemistry and enjoy being together.

Employment Rate: Position of approximately 30 hours per week and substitutes for work as needed.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreements.
