1 position(s).

Do you want a job where you make a difference – really, every day?

We are now looking for someone who wants to work as a case handler within LSS and social psychiatry and become part of our unit within the Care Administration.

You will become part of a work group with varied experience, where we actively work to develop and strengthen the LSS and social psychiatry areas. We value collaboration, knowledge sharing, and an open climate where we support each other in our daily work.

With us, you will get a meaningful and varied job where you combine independence with close collaboration. You will have the opportunity to develop in your professional role while influencing how we work – we are a unit in constant development.

About the Role

As a support case handler with a focus on investigations within LSS and social psychiatry, you have a central and significant role within the Care Administration. You work with public authority exercises based on clear delegations and guidelines, contributing to creating vital measures that make a difference in people's daily lives.

A large part of the work involves planning and assessing individuals' needs for support and measures. You conduct home visits, which gives you a varied workday where no two days are alike. The work alternates between desk time and field visits, both planned and urgent.

You are also responsible for reviews and follow-ups of previous decisions. This means you handle assessments, documentation, and decisions within the social law area. As the responsible case handler, you make decisions based on delegation, but you are never alone – support and guidance are always close at hand from both the manager and colleagues.

The work takes place in close collaboration within the work group as well as with other professional roles and external cooperation partners. We work needs-oriented according to IBIC (Individual Needs in the Center) and are a unit that actively develops our working methods and collaborations to best meet the needs of those we serve.

Are you looking for a job where every day is unique, where you have the opportunity to develop in a supportive and collaborative environment, and where you can truly make a difference in people's lives? Then the position as a support case handler with us might be just right for you.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a university education in the social care program, social work program, or another education that the employer considers equivalent. The education must include social law or the disability area.

You have experience of public authority exercises within the social services. It is an asset if you have experience of case handling within LSS, SoL (Social Services Act), and/or social psychiatry, as well as knowledge or experience of the IBIC working method and a solution-focused approach.

As a person, you are structured and have a good ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work. You work independently and take responsibility for driving your cases forward, while also having good collaboration skills and a professional approach.

You are attentive and flexible in meetings with other people and find it easy to adapt your communication to the situation and recipient. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and are confident in documenting in a legally secure manner.

A B-class driver's license is required for the position. Since home visits are part of the work, you need to be comfortable being in environments where pets and smoking may occur.
