ABOUT THE POSITION

Vi Omsorg is now looking for dedicated personal assistants for our client who lives with her husband in central Rättvik. We are looking for someone who wants to work as a substitute as needed, when regular staff are not on duty – for example, during illness, leave, or other absences. The shifts are usually scheduled as 24-hour shifts, but shorter shifts may occur as needed. During the night, waiting time applies, and two days a week there is double assistance for three hours.

The working hours may be scheduled as follows:

• 24-hour shifts between 09:00-09:00

• 09:00-17:00

• 17:00-09:00

• 17:00-12:00

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a woman in her 60s with multiple sclerosis (MS). She has extensive care needs and is largely bedridden. As an assistant, you will spend most of your shift by her side, making it important that you are comfortable being indoors for the entire shift.

The client uses several aids, including a wheelchair, shower chair, catheter, and tube feeding. There is also lifting equipment to facilitate transfers, but despite this, some tasks can be physically demanding. Therefore, it is important that you as an assistant have the capacity to handle these situations.

Your tasks will include:

• Assistance with daily routines and household chores

• Assistance with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and meals

The client has a great love for animals, especially dogs. If you as an assistant have a dog, it is welcome to accompany you to the client's home during shifts.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in working with people and the ability to analyze and understand others' needs. You should be attentive, proactive, and solution-oriented, as well as having a strong commitment to your work. We prefer that you are empathetic, calm, and patient, as personal suitability is of great importance for this role. Our client wishes to have only female assistants.

REQUIREMENTS

• Good knowledge of Swedish

• Can work in a home with pets 

Employment rate: Substitute position as needed.

Start date: As agreed, we hope you can start the introduction immediately.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreements.
