Special Educator for Sundborn School, Danholn School, and Svärdsjö School Area

We are now looking for a special educator who is passionate about student development and wants to contribute to a proactive and preventive student care effort together with teachers and school management at Sundborn School, Danholn School, and the Svärdsjö school area!

Sundborn School is a newly built F-6 school with about 150 students, and Danholn School is an F-6 school with about 100 students. Both schools are located in fantastic surroundings where our wonderful students have good conditions to succeed in school thanks to an engaged staff group comprising about 30 employees. We need to complement our team with expertise in special education so that we can better meet the students' needs, develop teaching, and improve the learning environment. We welcome you as a trained special educator who is used to working both proactively and preventively at the organizational and group level as well as at an individual level. You will be an important part of our student health team, where meetings are held together with other staff working to make our education more accessible and inclusive. You will work closely with the school management. Together, we care that every student in our activities develops to their full potential, both academically and socially. You will also be an important piece of the puzzle in our work teams and in the school's development work.

The Svärdsjö school area offers workplaces where we develop and create modern schools together. Here, you will also work in teams, alongside other special educators and student health staff. In your role as a special educator, we hope you have in-depth knowledge of various conditions in society, schools, and individual-level factors that may lead to learning difficulties. The role also involves working as a qualified conversation partner and advisor in educational matters for colleagues, guardians, and other important parties. Job Responsibilities

The work involves identifying, analyzing, and participating in efforts to develop and promote the learning environment in the organization at both group and individual levels. In your role, you will provide guidance and support to work teams and individual educators. You will work on school-wide assignments where special educational expertise is needed and be a driving force in student care efforts. As a special educator, you will also be the school management's “extended arm” in the work teams regarding student care matters. If necessary, you will need to establish educational investigations and action programs in collaboration with educators, students, and guardians.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience in both proactive and preventive work at the organizational level and remedial work at the individual level
• Experience working in grades F-6 of primary school

Employment Conditions

The position is a permanent full-time employment. Start date by agreement.
