We are currently seeking a communicator in the energy sector for a government agency on behalf of our client. The assignment is full-time and is expected to start on 2026-04-01 and last until 2027-03-31, with the possibility of extension.

About the assignment

To meet the increased demand for electricity and ensure operational reliability, extensive renewals of the electricity grid are planned throughout Sweden. This is a crucial prerequisite for electrification and the green transition. Effective and tailored communication with relevant stakeholders is essential for a successful network expansion.

The assignment involves supporting the network expansion with communication expertise across several programs and projects, in close collaboration within a communications unit focusing on regional dialogue and project progress.

Job responsibilities

• Develop and write communication plans
• Plan, implement, and follow up on communication efforts
• Plan and execute events targeted at specific audiences
• Provide communicative support to project spokespersons
• Ensure that communication adheres to established messages
• Produce texts, images, and simple videos
• Publish content on the web and intranet (Optimizely)
• Create communication materials in InDesign

We are looking for someone who meets the following mandatory requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in the last five years working with communication aimed at the public
• At least 4 years of experience independently driving, planning, and executing audience-adapted communication and relationship-building communication activities
• At least 3 years of experience communicating complex issues tailored to several different target groups
• You must speak and write Swedish and English fluently

It is advantageous if you also meet the following requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience as a communicator in public administration with the public as the target group
• At least 3 years of experience operationally working with communication in network expansion projects
• At least 2 years of experience in the role of communication consultant
