Adult Education Upplands-Bro offers educational programs including Swedish for immigrants (SFI), basic and upper secondary levels, vocational training, and higher vocational education.

The municipality's own Komvux school is centrally located in Kungsängen.

Job Description

The role of a teacher in SFI, Swedish as a second language, and/or English involves teaching during the day and evening, and possibly online. The teaching we offer is primarily in classrooms but is being developed to include significant digital elements. You will belong to a team with competent colleagues and a strong focus on language education.

All work is based on the school's vision with the guiding principles of Safety, Learning, and Future, and the municipality's organizational philosophy; Holistic View, Engagement, and Professionalism. The school conducts teaching characterized by clear goals and high expectations for the students.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a qualified teacher and/or has teaching experience in Swedish as a second language at SFI and basic courses (at least 30-45 credits) and/or in English at the basic level.
• Has good computer skills, as teaching is conducted with a combination of analog and digital teaching materials.

About the position:

The position is a fixed-term employment on full or part-time during the spring, with the possibility of extension. Start date is February 11 or by agreement.
