Onsite IT Support Engineer

Brief Summary of the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced onsite IT Support Engineer for one of our clients to work in a mission-critical and security-sensitive IT environment. The role is clearly user-facing and involves responsibility for ensuring stable operations, quick troubleshooting, and high quality in daily delivery. The assignment is full-time and requires physical presence on-site in Linköping.

Responsibilities

Provide user-facing IT support on-site when remote support is insufficient

Install, configure, and prepare computers, mobile phones, and client-side equipment

Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the client environment, peripherals, and conference rooms

Ensure functionality and management of printers and meeting technology

Be responsible for inventory and updating records of IT equipment

Document cases, actions, and solutions in the case management system and knowledge database

Handle prioritized and mission-critical cases with a high level of service

Participate in incidents, operational disruptions, and security-related events

Develop and update instructions and user documentation

Mandatory Requirements

Experience in IT support or equivalent technical role

Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form

Experience in documentation and administrative handling of IT cases

Valid driver's license (B)

Ability to work independently, structured, and with a clear customer focus

Pass and be approved in a security clearance according to applicable requirements

Desirable and Preferred Competencies

Experience from larger organizations with complex IT environments

Practical experience in client management, hardware support, and conference technology

Interest in improving workflows, routines, and technical processes

Full-time

Consultant assignment

Start Date and Assignment Duration

Start planned for March 2026

Assignment duration of approximately twelve months with the possibility of extension
