OHB Sweden is a leading Swedish supplier of space systems. We develop, build, test, and deliver satellites and subsystems for space missions in areas such as communication, earth observation, and space research, for both institutional and commercial customers within and outside Europe.

We are now looking for a qualified IT technician at OHB Sweden for a central role with varied tasks and responsibilities within the organization. The position involves working broadly with both hardware and software, as well as supporting users across the company. The tasks include installation, configuration, operation, and troubleshooting of clients, networks, and infrastructure, as well as work with IT security and endpoint protection. The role also includes work in a Microsoft 365 environment, Intune, and internal systems, where proactivity and security awareness are central components.

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure operation and functionality of the local IT infrastructure.

• Maintain IT and information security and collaborate on internal projects.

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of systems and infrastructure.

• Follow technological developments and suggest improvements within IT.

• Provide technical support to employees and act as an internal IT expert.

Profile and Qualifications:

We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, quality-conscious, and works long-term, both independently and in teams. You have a good understanding of processes and documentation, as well as a strong commitment. The ability to identify efficiency opportunities and a genuine interest in technology are important qualities. Experience in operations and support is a requirement. Personal qualities are highly valued.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of relevant work experience,

• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows Server,

• Experience in installation, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT environments and infrastructure,

• Swedish citizenship,

• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Meritorious:

• Experience in server virtualization and Microsoft Azure,

• Technical management of IT,

• Knowledge of Linux and storage solutions,

• Client management and experience working according to ITIL,

• Post-secondary education with a technical focus or equivalent competence.

The position is classified in a security classification, and therefore a security clearance will be conducted.
