We can offer you a fun and stimulating job as a receptionist/administrator where you will provide service to citizens and contribute to the administrative unit within the Social Administration. We warmly welcome your application!
About the position
As a receptionist/administrator with us, you will be responsible for the Social Administration's reception in the area of Individuals and Families. You will guide visitors correctly, provide service and information, handle mail, book cars and premises, report faults, and perform other administrative tasks. Furthermore, you will be responsible for updates within IFO and monitor functional mailboxes.
Examples of tasks:
- work in reception
- update incoming documents within social services
- perform various types of administrative tasks and some mail handling
- register reports of concern and similar documents
- monitor and manage digital mailboxes
- documentation in various operational systems
About the workplace
The main mission of the Social Administration is to support the residents of Örebro in their daily lives. The administrative unit is part of the Social Administration's area of Individual and Family Care and is a service function that provides the Social Board's operations with knowledge, administrative support, and invoice management.

Qualifications
As a receptionist/administrator, you are service-oriented and solution-focused. Your working style is characterized by orderliness, accuracy, and responsibility. To thrive in the role, you find it easy to work independently as well as collaboratively with others. As a person, you are secure and stable and have the ability to focus on the right things in stressful situations. You have experience in meeting people in vulnerable positions and have a low-affect approach. You master the Swedish language well enough to communicate with clients and colleagues and to document what the operations require. Good computer skills are required for the job.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Requirements:
- relevant high school education or vocational training in a relevant field, such as administration, or another direction that the employer assesses as equivalent
Meritorious:
- experience working within social services
- experience with Örebro municipality's operational systems, e.g., Lifecare, Raindance, Visma, W3D3, Teams
- multilingualism
Scope and start date
Employment type: temporary
Employment rate: 100%
Start date: week 25 or by agreement - until week 34
Number of positions: 2
