The Department of Children and Family administers several different social insurance benefits – including parental allowance, pregnancy allowance, maintenance support, and housing allowance. The Legal Support area is responsible for the department's review operations, litigation in court, and legal support close to case handling. Our litigation lawyers in the Children and Family department are located in Gothenburg and Sundsvall. We are in an exciting development phase and need to grow. We are looking for someone who enjoys taking responsibility for their tasks and working together with others to strengthen the legal quality of the department.
Legal support, development, and collaboration
As a litigation lawyer, you represent Försäkringskassan in social insurance cases in administrative courts and administrative courts of appeal. In collaboration with the legal department, you appeal to the Supreme Administrative Court. As a litigation lawyer, you participate in the review of legal quality follow-ups. The work involves both written handling and oral hearings in administrative courts.
In the role of litigation lawyer, you handle confidential information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a high security awareness.

We are looking for someone who
- has a law degree
- is qualified as a notary or has equivalent competence, such as other experience in court or in review and/or appeal processes within an authority
- has good collaboration skills and can act on their own initiative
- is proactive and takes responsibility for results with high quality
- has a systematic and meticulous working method
- can understand and analyze complex issues
- communicates clearly, distinctly, and structured.
It is advantageous if you
- have current experience in social insurance cases in administrative courts or administrative courts of appeal
- have good knowledge of administrative procedural law and social insurance law
- have knowledge within the relevant department's insurance area.

A number of positions, permanent full-time, with start date by agreement. We apply a probationary period.
