Sydnärkes Education Association is a municipal federation located in Hallsberg, with Askersund, Hallsberg, and Laxå as member municipalities. On behalf of the member municipalities, we lead and are responsible for upper secondary education, adult education, and commissioned education. We offer 12 national upper secondary programs, introductory programs, and adapted upper secondary school. In addition, we also conduct adult education at Allévux.

We have approximately 1,800 students, of which 1,300 are at Alléskolan and 500 at Allévux. We have around 300 employees, and in daily work, support is available in the form of functions such as administration, HR, finance, and IT. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a service-oriented school administrator for Alléskolan who, together with other staff, contributes to ensuring that operations for students, guardians, and staff run smoothly. You will work in a team consisting of five other school administrators, each responsible for one or more school units.

As a school administrator, you play a key role as you provide support to the principals in areas such as student, staff, finance, information, and authority administration. Your tasks primarily involve supporting principals and teachers in the work with administration related to operations, planning, and reporting in systems and databases, as well as providing good service to the school's staff and students. You perform common school administrative tasks and work in our student administrative system Edlevo.

You will work with follow-ups and reporting to other authorities such as the Swedish National Agency for Education, Statistics Sweden, and the Swedish Board of Student Finance. You are also involved in the school's document management and archiving.

In your role as a school administrator, you will participate in the school's scheduling and be responsible for e-services. Therefore, you should have the ability to handle several different IT programs and their synchronization.

QUALIFICATIONS

Who are you?

To fit this role, you need to be positive, attentive, and service-oriented. We also believe that you are a person motivated by change and development work and enjoy working both independently and collaboratively. You have strong communication skills and are confident in building relationships, both internally and externally. You plan and organize your work effectively and are structured, flexible, and maintain a positive and professional approach when interacting with people.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education with a focus on administration or finance, or other experience deemed equivalent.
  • You have experience working as a school administrator or in a similar role.
  • Good IT skills and you find it easy to learn different systems.
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Meritorious:

  • Experience working in other school administrative systems, such as Edlevo.
  • Experience in scheduling in Skola24.
  • Experience in other work within schools.
  • Very good knowledge and experience of Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.

Interviews will be held in the morning of February 5th and 6th.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
