We are looking for a staff member for Psychiatric Administration 2, located at the outpatient clinic for medication-assisted treatment for opioid dependence (LARO) at Örebro University Hospital.

Operational and management support in psychiatry is a business area within the Psychiatry Department. The business area consists of approximately 90 employees, of which about 65 are medical care administrators. One of the tasks of the operation is to develop the professional role, administrative methods, ensure that the area's administrative processes function, and work for a good working environment for our employees together with our medical care administrators.

The Psychiatry Department conducts acute and planned activities within outpatient care and inpatient care. We have administration at Örebro University Hospital, Karlskoga, Hallsberg, and Lindesberg. Medical administration is a central function in our operations that ensures that the administrative processes work. Psychiatric administration consists of about 65 medical care administrators distributed among three unit managers.

Typical tasks for a medical care administrator include medical documentation, patient administration, billing work, mail handling, and administrative support to other professional groups, as well as reception work. The work is independent, varied, and offers close collaboration with all professional groups within psychiatry.

As we in Psychiatry care for our patients and value patient safety highly, we will request extracts from the suspicion and criminal records from the National Police Board in connection with the recruitment. Medical care administrator education, medical secretary education, or medical secretary training is a requirement. We are looking for someone who has good knowledge of the Swedish language, is service-oriented, flexible, and meticulous, and has good collaboration skills.
