The Department of Pediatrics is now looking for you who want to take the chance to become part of our fantastic administrative team located at the Pediatric Outpatient Clinic at Örebro University Hospital.
The Pediatric Outpatient Clinic USÖ is one of our four pediatric clinics within the Department of Pediatrics. The clinic has a broad mandate that mainly includes a planned outpatient service for children and adolescents.
The Department of Pediatrics currently consists of about 25 medical administrative staff and administrators. The position involves close collaboration with several professional categories, which places high demands on good teamwork skills and a professional service-oriented approach. At the Pediatric Outpatient Clinic USÖ, there are a total of 2 administrators working.

Within the Department of Pediatrics, we conduct a broad pediatric operation and have good competence in many subspecialty areas. We have a children's ward with 18 beds and a neonatal ward with 10 beds for newborns from gestational week 25+0. We have a daycare for children, and the operation has a very well-functioning mobile children's team. Outpatient services are conducted at the subspecialty clinic at USÖ and at three general pediatric clinics in Örebro, Lindesberg, and Karlskoga. At the pediatric clinic, dietitians, social workers, psychologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, teachers, and play therapists work closely together with each other and with other healthcare staff. The operation has over 230 employees. We offer a varied job and a challenging and stimulating work environment. Job ResponsibilitiesThe job responsibilities mainly consist of reception work but also other administrative tasks. The work includes receiving and registering patients, telephone contact with guardians and patients via our booking phone, and handling cases via 1177. Furthermore, it includes scanning and printing, including requests for medical records and requisitions, documentation, and mail handling. The work also involves providing administrative support to other professional categories, receiving sick notifications in the absence of regular responsible staff, and ordering materials and other recurring administrative tasks.

QualificationsWe are looking for someone who has experience in administrative work with patient/customer contact or other experience that the employer deems relevant. We are looking for someone who has good knowledge of the Swedish language and good computer skills. It is an advantage if you have a recognized education as a medical administrative officer or equivalent, but it is not a requirement.
