HR Intern at Textilia
Have you ever been in contact with healthcare? Stayed at a hotel, dined at a restaurant, or worked in a laboratory? Then you have likely encountered Textilia, even if you didn't notice it. We provide laundry and textile services to customers with high demands for sustainability, service, quality, and hygiene. We are a company in constant development, and here you will be part of driving that development forward – together for a cleaner tomorrow.
Do you want to gain practical HR experience in a business-oriented environment?
We are now offering an internship in HR where you will have the opportunity to work closely with the local management at one of our laundries, with support and guidance from our central HR function in Örebro.
About the internship
As an HR intern with us, you will be part of the daily operations and gain insight into how HR work functions in practice – from personnel administration and workplace environment to system support and dialogue with managers and employees. The internship is located locally at the laundry, but you will have close collaboration with central HR.
Responsibilities
Your tasks may include:
- Supporting local management in daily HR and personnel issues
- Personnel administration, e.g., updating information in HR systems, handling employment data, absences, and other personnel-related documentation
- Assisting with questions related to workplace environment and systematic workplace environment work (SAM)
- Participating in the onboarding of new employees
- Supporting rehabilitation cases and follow-ups (at an administrative level)
- Contributing to the updating of routines, checklists, and HR-related documentation
- Gaining insight into labor law, collective agreements, and collaboration in practice
The tasks will be adapted to your education, experience, and the length of the internship period.
We are looking for someone who
- Is studying HR, human resources, behavioral science, or equivalent (YH or university)
- Has an interest in personnel administration, workplace environment, and business-oriented HR
- Is structured, meticulous, and has a knack for collaboration
- Enjoys being close to the operations and meeting both managers and employees
- Is curious, responsible, and eager to learn how HR works in everyday life
We offer
- An educational internship in a business-oriented and down-to-earth environment
- The opportunity to apply theory in practice
- Support from both local management and central HR in Örebro
- Insight into HR work within a larger organization
- An internship where you can make a real impact and take on responsibility
Location

About Textilia
Textilia is a Scandinavian group with over 2,600 employees providing nationwide laundry and textile services. In Sweden, we operate twelve laundries – from Boden in the north to Malmö in the south – with the Swedish office in Örebro. With more than 70 years of experience, we ensure that healthcare, industry, hotels, and restaurants have access to clean and reliable textiles every day.
We are proud to be a workplace where people from over 40 nationalities work together, with an even gender distribution in both operations and management. This shapes our culture – and strengthens us. As one of the first in the industry, we recycle discarded textiles on a large scale. This is part of our long-term mission to create a cleaner tomorrow.
