Background

The client is looking for an administrator for a new exciting role. The unit is a relatively newly formed unit within the section for external assignments. Currently, the unit consists of nine employees.

Responsibilities

1. Investigate individuals liable for total defense based on established selection criteria and incoming documentation to enable them to fulfill civil duty.
2. Prepare necessary documentation for enrollment and make submissions for enrollment to the Total Defense's duty and examination authority regarding those individuals deemed suitable to fulfill civil duty after investigation.
3. Provide support in handling appeals and interruptions.
4. Manage ongoing administration for individuals being investigated.
5. Maintain ongoing contact with individuals liable for total defense via both phone and written communication.
6. Handle confidential information.
7. Collaborate internally and externally.
8. Provide support in educational planning for individuals liable for total defense.
9. Contribute to the unit's operational development by developing routines and processes.

Mandatory Requirements:

• University education at least at the bachelor's level in fields such as political science, law, or public administration.
• Experience in investigation or administration that has involved making decisions affecting individuals for at least 2 years.
• Experience working in public sector for at least 2 years.
• The consultant must have a B driver's license.

Desirable Requirements:

• Should have education in preparedness, civil defense, or total defense, or equivalent work experience for at least one year.

• Should have experience in investigating and handling contentious legal issues, such as administrative law, tort, or contract matters, regardless of organization.
• Should have worked with confidential information.
