Medical Secretaries Wanted at the Dermatology Clinic in Gävle

The Dermatology Clinic in Gävle is located in Tullhuset just a few minutes' walk from the central station. We conduct both outpatient services and outpatient surgical operations and are a modern clinic that handles large patient flows. Here, about 40 employees work, including doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries. We also have branches in Sandviken, Bollnäs, Söderhamn, Hudiksvall, and Ljusdal. Together, we actively work on development to meet future healthcare needs.

We are now looking for two medical secretaries – come and make a difference with us!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a medical secretary, you have a key function and are an important team member to ensure the whole operates smoothly. You manage medical documentation, registrations, and other administrative tasks. We work in the Cosmic journal system, which has recently been implemented throughout Region Gävleborg.

Your main tasks

• medical documentation through dictation writing of journal notes, letters, referrals, and certificates
• manage mail.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is responsible, structured, and has the ability to prioritize and drive their work forward. You work independently but also enjoy collaborating with others, are attentive, and have good communication skills. You are observant, helpful, and have a genuine interest in contributing. Furthermore, we see that you are flexible, have a solution-focused approach, and appreciate a varied job in a fast-paced and educational environment.

For this role, you should

• be a trained medical secretary, healthcare administrator, or medical transcriptionist
• have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

If you have experience working in a clinic and with the Cosmic journal system, it is an advantage, but not a requirement.

These are temporary positions for 6 months, with a possible extension. If you are interested in a part-time position, it can be discussed.
