At a client site in Sickla, Sodexo is responsible for reception with café and switchboard, as well as conference services, janitorial services, mail, goods, cleaning, security, SBA, etc. We now need to complement our team with someone who wants to work in reception/café/catering with a suitable background to support the kitchen with the preparation of sandwiches, salads, and lunches. Some education or experience from café/kitchen and knowledge of HACCP is a requirement.
We are looking for someone who wants to combine work in reception and café and looks forward to being the customer's face to the outside. You have good organization and a desire to deliver the best possible service. You will work in a team that staffs the reception/café and switchboard and takes care of conference services and office services such as mail and goods handling, replenishing materials, and changing return containers.
Working with us is varied, challenging, and requires great personal commitment. The reception, where the café is also located, is the hub of our operations from which we do everything from receiving external customers, answering the switchboard, and managing our case portal to helping the client's employees with access cards and other questions. We work flexibly and help each other, and the tasks are varied. Therefore, it is important that you are unpretentious, open, and curious, and see it as a natural task to create a good atmosphere in the workplace. This job is for you who like to have a lot to do and for the day to go fast.
Your main tasks will consist of:
- Daily reception work;
- Welcoming visitors
- Access card management
- Answering the switchboard
- Maintaining order in the reception
- Updating written procedures and checklists
- Case management in our portal
- Handling inquiries and orders by phone, over the counter, and email
- Mail and goods handling
- Purchasing office supplies
- Daily café work;
- Assisting in preparing sandwiches, salads, etc.
- Cashier/Sales in the café but also some preparation of sandwiches, salads, etc.
- Delivering catering to internal meetings
- Assisting with administration in the café such as purchasing, inventory, follow-up, etc.
- Other;
- Taking care of conference rooms and bookings
- Dishes/Cleaning of reception/café
- Handling return containers for paper and cardboard, etc.
- Replenishing office supplies on the floors
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Education or work experience in café/kitchen
- Express yourself well in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Good knowledge of the Office suite
- Experience working in reception is an advantage
- High school or equivalent
Personal qualities:
- You are representative and social and enjoy being a point of contact for both external guests and the client's employees
- You find it rewarding to solve daily problems on your own and constantly want to make each day better for the employees in the office and the external guests you meet.
- You are structured and planning
- You are positive and enjoy working in a group and towards clear goals
- You are independent and proactive
- You have the ability to sometimes manage to work at a high pace
- You have good collaboration skills and are attentive to the customer's needs

Employment form and working hours:
The employment is permanent with a 6-month probationary period. Working hours are daytime.
