At the Swedish Migration Agency, we work with one of the major societal issues of our time – migration. We are a total of about 6,000 people here, and we have an unusually important job!

Are you the right person to ensure that the payroll system Heroma fully supports our HR processes? Then you should apply for the position of HR Specialist focusing on Heroma!

In this role, you will work closely with supporting HR and managers in how the system is applied in practice, resolve user-related issues, and contribute to sustainable and clear working methods that work for HR, managers, and employees.

What does an HR Specialist do at HR Support?

With your expertise in Heroma, you will act as a bridge between HR processes, regulations, and system support with a focus on application, advice, and requirement specification, not system management or technical development. You will provide qualified support in both operational and more complex user and application issues. Your tasks include independently analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving questions related to how the system is used in practice, as well as ensuring that working methods and applications are in line with applicable regulations, collective agreements, and established HR processes.

The role has a clear process perspective and involves, together with HR, contributing to the development and clarification of working methods related to employment, absence, working hours, and salary. A central part of the assignment is to translate HR needs and business requirements into clear specifications, needs descriptions, and improvement proposals that can be handled within the framework of system management and further development of Heroma.

Furthermore, you will provide advisory and pedagogical support to HR administrators within HR support as well as to managers in more complex cases. The role contributes to identifying improvement needs that strengthen uniform, efficient, and quality-assured working methods, but does not have the responsibility or mandate to configure, change, or manage the system.

In your role, you will collaborate closely with HR's system management, system suppliers, and, if necessary, the authority's digitalization and development department, in order to convey the business's needs and ensure good dialogue between HR and system management.

Who are you?

You work well with other people, can relate to them in a responsive and smooth manner. You listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts constructively. You plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively and have the courage to act according to your own convictions. Furthermore, you handle complex issues well. You analyze and break down problems into their components and solve complicated problems. You have good pedagogical skills and can explain the system's logic and application in a way that is understandable and useful in an HR context. You have a clear understanding of the difference between operational HR support and system management, and can balance the business's needs against the system's conditions through dialogue, requirement specification, and collaboration.

You who are applying have

  • A university degree of at least 120 credits in HR or other education combined with relevant work experience for the role
  • Experience working in the HR and payroll system HEROMA
  • Very good communication skills in spoken and written Swedish
