Within Kriminalvården's operations, there are more than 70 different professional roles, primarily correctional officers but also caseworkers, investigators, nurses, production leaders, transport planners, chefs, teachers, and many more. Kriminalvården's Stockholm Region stretches from Norrtälje in the north to Södertälje in the south. The region consists of eleven operational areas and a regional office in Liljeholmen, Stockholm.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for two new employees for permanent positions in an exciting and important role in the coordinated staffing group!

As a caseworker/personnel planner within coordinated staffing in the Stockholm region, you will be part of a group of about 30 employees. You will work together with colleagues to staff one of our remand prisons or correctional facilities. Your placement will be at the regional office in Liljeholmen, but there will also be regular work at the core operations, i.e., one of the nine correctional facilities or three remand prisons included in the Greater Stockholm region.

Through daily contact with core operations, you will plan staffing at our units in a quality-assured and efficient manner. The planning is based on laws, routines, and collective agreements. You will solve both short- and long-term vacancies and proactively work to achieve set goals. The role also includes vacation planning and training planning, as well as collaboration with our managers throughout the region to best staff the operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with good cooperation skills and the willingness and ability to help your colleagues deliver solutions. You work well with complex issues and can analyze difficult problems. In your work, you plan, organize, and prioritize your tasks efficiently. To fit in the role, it is also important that you can see the bigger picture and take into account the larger perspective. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Complete upper secondary education or other education combined with work experience that Kriminalvården deems relevant
  • Experience working with personnel or staffing planning
  • Ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish
  • Good computer skills

We consider it an advantage if you have:

  • Education in labor law, human resource management, or similar education
  • Experience with personnel planning in Heroma
  • Experience staffing a 24/7 operation
  • Current knowledge of laws and agreements (labor law, working time regulations, policies, etc.)

OTHER

In this recruitment, the selection process will begin after the advertising period has expired, and interviews will take place on March 5-6 in Liljeholmen.
