Närakut Järva is seeking an experienced medical secretary who wants to help develop the care level at Närakut in Stockholm.

Our mission is to provide emergency care for children and adults who do not require the resources of a hospital. Our opening hours are 8 AM to 10 PM, the clinic operates on a drop-in basis, and we work cross-professionally in teams. Our operations are based on emergency care, which involves a wide variety of patient groups. We also have a significant educational mission, mentoring students for our future colleagues.

Job responsibilities: As a medical secretary, you are an important part of the team's operations. You will work office hours daily with record-keeping, diagnosis setting, referral management, police cases, record requests, and 1177.

Qualifications: We are looking for a medical secretary with excellent knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, as well as spoken English. Experience with the TakeCare record system and diagnosis coding is an advantage.

We would also like you to have experience in emergency care.

Swedish C is a requirement.

Employment type: Permanent employment.

  • background checks will be applied before hiring decisions according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment.
  • employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to applicable directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
  • in addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
