Do you want to help combat welfare crime?

Do you want to become one of us and work to prevent and counteract welfare crime and the presence of unscrupulous and criminal actors? Together with engaged and qualified colleagues, you will contribute to our important work. We are looking for inspectors based at IVO's office in Stockholm.
About the job
As an inspector at IVO, you will play a central role in the work to counteract welfare crime. You will have a varied and educational job that involves both review, analysis, assessment, and compilation of data.
Your main tasks will consist of conducting ownership and management assessments/fitness assessments of companies licensed by IVO to operate under the Social Services Act and the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons.
Eventually, activities in other areas, such as dental care, may also be included. This means reviewing whether these companies meet the requirements for suitability, insight, and financial prerequisites. The tasks also include responding to referrals, letters, and participating in various project groups.
The position is both challenging and significant, where you will contribute to creating safer and more secure care. The work involves internal and external contacts with all departments of IVO and collaborating authorities. IVO is an organization in development, and over time your area of work may change as IVO receives new assignments, priorities, and instructions.
The position is a permanent employment with a six-month probationary period based in Stockholm. Travel may occur in the position.

- several years of relevant experience in investigative work, preferably within public administration
- high digital maturity and good knowledge of the Office suite
- very good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
You have a genuine interest in making care and support safer. In the role of inspector, you need to be independent, able to prioritize, and work systematically. You are a reliable person with high integrity and good self-awareness. You have a good ability to absorb new knowledge and tasks. Your ethical compass is strong, and you act in accordance with routines and regulations. The work requires you to be receptive, open to taking in and sharing new information, and clear in your communication. The role requires good collaboration skills where you contribute to an open work climate.
We place great importance on personal qualities and abilities.
We consider it an advantage if you also have:
- experience working to counteract welfare crime and unscrupulous actors
- knowledge of ownership and management assessment/fitness assessment
