Accounting Assistant for Skanska

SJR is recruiting a driven accounting assistant for Skanska with an office in Kungsholmen. This is a consulting assignment starting immediately and initially lasting until 30/9 with a chance of extension.

About the Position

Skanska Business Support is a shared service center that supports all companies within the Skanska Group in Sweden with approximately 8,000 employees. We deliver high-quality services within accounts payable and receivable, expense management, etc. The department consists of about 50 employees divided into four groups: accounts payable, banking & payments, accounts receivable, and finance helpdesk.

Responsibilities

As an Accounting Assistant in accounts payable, you will be part of a team of 12 people and will have the following main tasks:

• E-invoicing/EDI for suppliers.
• Invoice registration.
• Order matching of supplier invoices.
• Review/explore new working methods within the company's processes.

Suitable Background

We are looking for someone with a post-secondary education in finance and 2-3 years of experience in a similar role. Experience with e-invoicing/EDI for suppliers is an advantage but not a requirement. You are communicative and comfortable expressing yourself fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. You are familiar with systems and have experience with Excel.

To succeed in this role, you are analytical, creative, and service-minded. You have a good ability to work in a structured and meticulous manner. Furthermore, you are communicative, not afraid to drive issues forward, and feel comfortable picking up the phone to contact suppliers.
