We are looking for an Analyst for Ecpat Hotline

Do you want to contribute to a world free from the sexual exploitation of children?

We are looking for an analyst for Ecpat Hotline. In the role of analyst, you will play a key role in our work to analyze, identify, and contribute to the removal of child sexual abuse material, as well as propose and implement measures to counteract sexual abuse against children.

Ecpat Sweden is a children's rights organization that works against the sexual exploitation of children. We do this by spreading knowledge about the crime and working preventively so that children and young people are not exposed. We work with advocacy and lobbying towards decision-makers and collaborate with authorities, businesses, and other organizations.

We also run three operational activities with direct contact with children, young people, and the public. Ecpat Hotline is a web-based tip-off site where the public can report suspected sexual abuse or sexual exploitation of children. Ditt Ecpat is a support line and reporting site for children and young people who are themselves victims or are worried about something. Ecpat Adult Support is a support line for parents, guardians, and other adults in children's vicinity who need advice and guidance.

Your main tasks:

  • Work operationally as an analyst.
  • Document, follow up, and budget.
  • Gather, analyze, and process new knowledge and research in the field.
  • Propose measures to counteract the occurrence of sexual abuse against children.
  • Contribute expert knowledge on all issues relevant to the organization.
  • Prepare materials for advocacy efforts or media appearances for the organization's spokespersons.
  • Conduct lectures, organize meetings and seminars for relevant target groups, and participate in networks organized by others.
  • Contribute content to our corporate collaborations.
  • Develop and participate in the organization's work with children's influence through, for example, conversations and surveys directed at children.

Who are you?

You are flexible and want to work operationally in Ecpat Hotline. You have strong analytical skills, work in a structured and meticulous manner, and have good experience in documentation and follow-up according to budget.

You are self-assured and used to working professionally with a difficult and complex subject area, with the ability to set boundaries and seek support. You also find it easy to engage and contribute to the team's common goals and results. You take significant personal responsibility, are aware of integrity, and respect confidentiality and regulations. You have a natural commitment to developing both yourself and the organization. You enjoy being part of a team but also working independently. You are attentive, unpretentious, and have good self-awareness.
