About the Role

As an embedded developer at our client company, you will work with technically advanced systems and develop software close to the hardware. The role includes design, implementation, testing, and integration of embedded systems, focusing on drivers, real-time systems, communication protocols, and hardware-near software. The work is done in close collaboration with colleagues in development, testing, and hardware, and offers the opportunity to contribute throughout the development chain – from analysis and design to verification in a lab environment. The position involves a combination of office work and work in lab/test environments. You will be part of cross-functional teams where collaboration between developers, test engineers, and hardware specialists is central to achieving high quality and robust solutions.

Examples of Responsibilities:

• Develop low-level software in C++ for embedded systems
• Work with real-time systems, drivers, and microcontrollers
• Perform verification and troubleshooting in a lab environment connected to hardware
• Work with build environments, version control, and test environments
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvements of development processes
• Contribute to agile development processes and technical solutions

The tasks are adapted to your experience and skills, and the role offers the opportunity to develop specialist knowledge in low-level programming, drivers, real-time systems, and communication protocols.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with 3–10 years of experience in embedded development or low-level software development, with good knowledge of C++. You are accustomed to and thrive in structured teams where collaboration and technical quality are in focus. You are driven by problem-solving and are a team player who can ask for help and offer help to others. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

Requirements

• 3–10 years of experience in embedded development/low-level programming
• Good knowledge of C++
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Swedish citizenship
