We are now looking for an operational and strategic Test Leader to Comrod in Linköping who wants to take full responsibility for the testing operations in a technically complex environment. As a test leader at Comrod, you will be a key person focused on structuring, quality assuring, and streamlining the testing work. An important part of the role is to take the step towards more automated testing and thereby reduce manual work. You combine operational testing work with strategic responsibility for processes, frameworks, and quality. All to ensure stable and efficient deliveries to customers and projects!

In the role of test leader, you will have a clear mandate to develop and streamline Comrod's testing operations. Your task will be to review existing tests, improve quality, and create a more sustainable and efficient working method.

You will work operationally by planning, writing, and executing tests yourself, as well as strategically by developing and further refining testing frameworks, processes, and methods.

The role includes, among other things:

• Taking responsibility for test strategy, test processes, and testing frameworks

• Reviewing and improving the quality of existing manual tests

• Reducing unnecessary testing time through smarter test setups and automation

• Writing and managing test cases in Azure DevOps

• Working with unit and integration tests

• Participating early in requirements work and ensuring testability

• Following up on quality and deliveries to customers

Comrod Mission Systems specializes in the development of advanced planning and automation systems for communication and sensor systems. The focus is on enabling rapid, secure, and efficient establishment of communication networks in demanding environments, such as military operations and crisis management situations. In Linköping, the software development team consists of 12 employees.

We are looking for someone with several years of experience in software testing who also has:

• Experience in test management and testing of complex systems

• Good experience in both manual testing and test automation

• Experience in setting up and improving testing processes

• Knowledge of unit and integration tests

• The ability to take strategic overall responsibility and drive improvement work independently

It is a merit if you have:

• Worked closely with requirements and customers in delivery projects

• Understanding of quality work within regulated or certified environments

• Experience with Azure DevOps

• Interest in sales, where you could represent the company at trade shows
