The Aeronautics business unit Advanced Programs is growing, and we want to bring in more engaged colleagues who want to be part of our journey. Your role
We are looking for someone who wants to lead our process and methodology work within software for future combat aircraft development. You will play a central role in ensuring that our software projects are carried out efficiently and with high quality according to DevOps methodology. You will be responsible for meeting and challenging the requirements set by authorities and customers on our operations.
The main tasks for a software process owner are to:
- Develop and implement processes, methods, and tools that support our software development projects.
- Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to ensure that processes, methods, and tools meet their needs.
- Lead and coach team members in the use of processes, methods, and tools.
- Analyze and improve existing processes and tools to increase efficiency and quality.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in software development.
If this role sounds exciting, you will become part of the newly established section Cross-Domain Software Engineering, which is tasked with being a competence hub for software development. We are responsible for the software development process and support the business with processes, methodology, and tools. Your profile
We are looking for someone who is a good listener, unpretentious, and adaptable in a dynamic environment. We place great importance on your personal qualities and believe that you collaborate well with different teams and lead change efforts within your area of responsibility. You are curious about other perspectives and create order and structure to help others in their daily work. Furthermore, you have good communication skills and communicate well in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
We believe that you have:
- Proven experience in software development and PM&T work.
- Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools in software development.
- Good leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of relevant tools and techniques, such as Agile, Scrum, CI/CD, etc.
The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for certain citizenship.
