We are now looking for a .NET Developer to Comrod in Linköping who wants to work with further development and new development of a technically complex software product. As a developer at Comrod, you will work with a system that has been around for a long time, contains a lot of functionality, and is constantly evolving. You will be part of a team that both modernizes the technology and ensures that existing functionality continues to work stably. All to meet new customer and business requirements!

In the role of .NET Developer, you will become part of a competent team that values collaboration and personal responsibility. The software product is a traditional desktop application with many dependencies, customizations, and technical connections.

An important part of the work is to gradually modernize the solution. The system has historically been built in .NET Framework but is now moving towards a more modern .NET. Therefore, you will work with both older codebases and new development in modern frameworks.

You will be involved in the entire development lifecycle – from requirements work and design of features to implementation, testing, and some documentation. Development takes place in close collaboration with the testing team, and together you work to ensure quality and stability.

The role includes, among other things:

• Developing and further developing functionality in C#.NET

• Participating in requirements work, design, and technical discussions

• Working in a complex system with both new and old code

• Working on modernization, code improvements, and restructuring

• Collaborating closely with other developers and testers as well as customers

Comrod Communication Group is an international group engaged in the development, production, sales, and marketing of communication solutions. The company, which has roots dating back to 1946, is known for its innovative solutions of high quality and long lifespan.

Comrod Mission Systems specializes in the development of advanced planning and automation systems for communication and sensor systems. The focus is on enabling rapid, secure, and efficient establishment of communication networks in demanding environments, such as military operations and crisis management situations. In Linköping, software development is located, and the team consists of 12 employees.

We are looking for someone with a few years of work experience in system development in C# and .NET, as well as:

• Experience with .NET Framework or .NET Core

• Experience working with traditional desktop applications

• Understanding of the entire development chain, from requirements to finished functionality

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience working in larger and more complex codebases

• Experience in modernizing older systems and code

• Experience with Azure DevOps and Work items

• A willingness to take greater responsibility for the product and/or towards the customer

You are a developer with a genuine technical interest and a desire to understand the whole picture. You thrive in teamwork, are happy to share your knowledge, and are not afraid to ask for help when needed.
