Your Role

Saab's products, such as Gripen and its support and training systems, have extensive requirements from both customers and certifying authorities. To meet customer expectations, it is important to have order in both the requirements and their fulfillment. In the role of Requirements Leader, you will be an important part of the daily work with requirements management and verification reporting, both internally and towards our customers and authorities.

Your responsibilities include:

• Requirements management in the database
• Development and updating of requirement specifications
• Handling of verification information for product, airworthiness, and contractual requirements
• Development of methods for reporting verification results internally as well as to customers and certifying authorities
• Support to the organization in requirements-related issues

You will be one of about ten employees providing overall support and guidance in the management of product requirements for the Gripen business unit. Together with product management, the group compiles and issues requirement specifications to stakeholders and administers changes to requirements. You and your colleagues compile and report verification status for requirements and administer verification reports. Communication with customers and authorities is part of the daily job. Developing methodology for this requirements management and presentation of requirement fulfillment is also part of the work. You are expected to be proactive and take initiative within your individual responsibility in the workgroup. At the same time, you are expected to contribute to the group's shared responsibility and maintain a positive and supportive work climate with a good team spirit.

Your Profile

We believe that you are driven to participate in both large and small projects where your analytical skills and holistic view come into play. You have an easy time structuring and managing large amounts of information effectively. Creating order and continuously following up on the status of various work tasks is a natural part of your working style.

You are flexible, solution-oriented, and can adapt to changing conditions without losing focus on the goal. The role includes varied tasks within requirements management, which requires accuracy and structure. Your communication skills are strong, and you easily build good relationships with both internal colleagues and external contacts.

We would like you to have:

• A degree in computer science, IT management, or similar
• Experience working in projects
• A flexible and goal-oriented working style
• Good collaboration and communication skills
• Meritorious with experience in database management or requirements tools, such as IBM DOORS
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

The position requires that you undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
