Your Role

As a developer/Systems Engineer, you will be part of the build team within Software Continuous Integration and Configuration Management. Together with the team, you will develop and improve the ACCS Build System for Gripen E/F.

You will work on implementation, testing, documentation, and maintenance of software components to meet specific needs for building and integrating the Avionics system. This also includes working on improvements such as optimizing build times or supporting changed working methods.

You are a structured person who can handle priorities. The role is versatile and offers great opportunities to develop, broaden, and deepen your technical knowledge. Your passion lies in finding long-term solutions to complex problems and implementing those solutions together with your team.

Your Profile

You have experience working with software development, want to develop, and have a genuine interest in technical solutions. We are looking for someone who enjoys collaboration both within the team and with contacts within the organization.

• You have a technical education from a university/college and an interest in software direction.
• Preferably experience working with software development.
• Good problem-solving skills and knowledge to develop creative and innovative solutions.
• You are comfortable with Python, which is mostly used in the area, but also preferably have knowledge of C/C++ and/or Java.
• Preferably knowledge of Git, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
• You have good communication skills in Swedish and English.

The most important thing is that you have the right mindset and a willingness to learn and develop.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for certain citizenship.
