Your Role

Our unit handles some of our most complex tasks. We specify systems, break down specifications into requirements, follow up verification, and ensure compliance with requirements. As a systems engineer with us, you will collaborate with colleagues in varied team constellations.

As part of a structured transformation towards an agile working method, we prioritize highest value first, ensure a functioning core early, and continuously calibrate the target image. You will be a key person in realizing the working method.

We are looking for someone who combines a holistic perspective with technical depth; you methodically understand our systems and explain how they should function for the right audience. The role spans several technical areas with broad contact surfaces across the entire organization.

You will be a key team player who, together with the team, creates world-class products.

Your Profile

We are looking for you with:

• Master's degree in engineering or equivalent
• Several years of experience (3+ years) in systems work within software, mechanics, or electronics
• Experience in system architecture including requirements management
• Experience in lean/agile working methods in cross-functional teams
• Ability to communicate the system's function and architecture to various stakeholders
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, in speech and writing

Meritorious:

• Experience in verification/validation and traceability from requirements to testing
• Experience in MBSE
• Domain knowledge in safety-critical or defense-related systems

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for certain citizenship.
