We are now recruiting for an exciting position at Emerson in Linköping as a Sr Embedded Engineer. We are looking for a senior developer in embedded systems who wants to be part of developing the next generation of radar-based level measurement devices. The role is technically advanced and involves significant responsibility for algorithm development and signal processing. You will work in a small, close-knit team with a great opportunity to influence both technical solutions and the future design of the product.

Primary responsibilities:

• Development of embedded software focusing on algorithms for signal processing and measurement logic.
• Design, development, and optimization of signal processing functions for radar-based sensors.
• Development of simulation models for algorithm testing and verification.
• Contribute to technical studies and innovation work within radar-based level measurement.
• Actively participate in product development from early requirements to market launch.
• Collaboration with colleagues in hardware, software, and system design to create robust and effective solutions.

To succeed in this role, we would like you to have experience in the following:

• Master's degree or equivalent in electrical engineering, computer engineering, technical physics, or similar.
• At least 5–10 years of experience in embedded systems development or algorithm development within signal processing and measurement logic.
• Experience working in C/C++.
• Knowledge and interest in signal processing.
• Experience in algorithm development.
• Experience working in Python and/or MATLAB for modeling and simulation.
• Familiarity with radar technology is a plus.
• Experience with machine learning applied to signal processing is a significant advantage.
