Our client is a global defense and security company operating in aerospace, land, and maritime defense, civil security, and commercial aviation technology. They are technically leading in many areas, and one-fifth of their revenue goes to research and development. In the role of systems engineer, you will be a key person in the work of developing, testing, and qualifying systems and equipment for aviation applications – from early design phase to finished, certified product.

Your tasks will include:

• Developing design documentation that describes the architecture and function of the systems.
• Creating test plans and participating in testing activities, both on the ground and in the air.
• Managing and analyzing customer requirements and ensuring that they can be met.
• Developing documentation that demonstrates that the systems meet applicable requirements and standards.
• Participating in the creation and review of manuals and other technical documentation.
• Working on the qualification of devices from an airworthiness perspective and ensuring their suitability for installation in aircraft.
• Collaborating closely with system installation, modification teams, and subcontractors.
• Contributing to the certification process with authorities and customers.

• Has an engineering degree in computer science, technical physics, electronics, or a related field.
• Has experience working with system architecture, either from education or professional life.
• Has a good understanding of both devices and interfaces.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form, as both languages are used in daily work.

Furthermore, great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability in the recruitment process. To fit this role, you need to enjoy working with several different areas in parallel as you will work on multiple projects while also being in contact with several different suppliers. You also need to have the ability to work with complex issues with precision and be driven by solving problems. This position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where our client has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.

This is a consultancy assignment, which means you will be employed by Friday.
