System and Software Developer

Your Role

As a System and Software Developer at Decision Support System CD (Gripen C/D Decision Support), you will have the chance to make a difference for our shared security by developing today’s and tomorrow’s combat aircraft.

You will be part of Decision Support C/D, which includes functions for sensor fusion, situation analysis, sensor control, and route planning. The section focuses solely on software development and currently has about 14 employees distributed across two Scrum teams, as part of a larger area with approximately 65 employees.

Your Responsibilities

• Define system architecture, design, and requirements together with technical leaders, teams, and other subsystems
• System integration
• Define verification and validation strategy
• Verification and validation activities
• Software development

Your Profile

We are looking for someone experienced in systems and software work. Someone who enjoys working with system development but also wants to stay connected to software development. You are communicative, driven, positive, outgoing, and results-oriented. You generously share your knowledge and experience and are a true team player.

You should have:

• Relevant technical university education
• Experience in systems work and software development
• Experience in verification and validation
• Experience working according to agile methodologies
• Good knowledge of English and Swedish, both spoken and written

Experience working at Saab is an advantage.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for certain citizenship.
