Responsibilities

In the role of IT Chemist, you will be involved in several projects simultaneously. You will be part of a team of 6-12 people, where everyone is involved in different customer projects. Your role is to act as a project manager/LIMS expert in several projects at the same time. You will participate in definition, work, and project meetings with customers. You can make configurations and sometimes program or configure the system according to customer needs. You will work together with at least one colleague on each project, where you implement and train new customers in the system or update existing customers to a more modern platform.

Your main responsibility is primarily to support customer companies with everyday problems and questions via email or by connecting remotely to their systems. In addition, you will handle both physical and digital meetings with customers where you set the agenda and ensure that the meetings create value for the ongoing collaboration.

The position may involve some travel within Scandinavia.

Education, experience, and personal qualities

  • Higher education in chemistry/another laboratory field or computer science

  • Good knowledge of IT and a strong interest in programming

  • Good experience from laboratories

  • Knowledge of Java, web-based systems, SQL databases, and system integrations is an advantage

  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

  • Driver's license B
