For our client Siemens Energy, a leading global player in the energy sector, we are now looking for an Industrial IT/OT System Administrator for an assignment at their site in Finspång. Thanks to high-tech and innovative product development, the company is an established partner in the energy sector, delivering advanced and sustainable solutions for the current and future needs of the market. Through this assignment, you will have the opportunity to work in an international and forward-thinking environment with many development opportunities. This is initially a consulting assignment for 6 months via Unik Resurs, with a very good chance of extension. We apply continuous selection, which means that the assignment may be filled before the application deadline.
Responsibilities and Duties
We are strengthening our IT and OT team within our ICS department (Industrial Control Systems) and are now looking for an Industrial IT/OT System Administrator. In this role, you will work with the implementation and operation of industrial IT and OT solutions in our delivery projects. You will be part of international projects, primarily within the energy and oil and gas sectors, where you will collaborate closely with both customers and internal teams. The role offers varied tasks and good opportunities for development within industrial IT, OT, and cybersecurity.
Your Tasks
- Implement and configure industrial IT and OT solutions in customer projects
- Ensure that control systems meet security and cybersecurity requirements
- Troubleshoot, solve problems, and provide technical support to cybersecurity and control systems engineers
- Work closely with multidisciplinary project teams in international environments
- Advise on systems, network components, and technical solutions to internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous professional development within the team
- Provide technical support to employees and manage IT-related incidents
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who has:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience
- Experience in configuration, deployment, and administration of Windows Server and client environments
- Experience in setting up and configuring local networks and network switches
- Good understanding of IT/OT environments and industrial systems is a plus
- Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
- Experience working in international and distributed teams
- Comfortable with remote work and digital collaboration tools
- Solution-oriented, self-driven, and with a strong focus on execution
