Your Role

As a systems and software engineer at Armament Delivery and Control, you will work on integrating weapons into the Gripen system. The weapons are used against targets in the air, on land, and at sea, and they are crucial for the combat capability of the Gripen system. The goal of the section is to integrate more weapons in a shorter time, and to succeed, we need your help.

The group currently consists of eight systems and software engineers with varying degrees of experience. It is a strong team with good cohesion, where we help each other in all situations. Your skills and experiences will be an important addition, and equally important is your personality and your ability to contribute to the group.

We would like you to have a few years of experience, while the most important thing will be your commitment to the task and the team.

Your Profile

We need you who are passionate about systems and software development and making it work in a real context. When the pilot pulls the trigger, the weapon must perform its mission and hit the target. You have a drive to get things done, while being meticulous and responsible. If you are also a positive person with the ability to see opportunities, that is a strong plus. You are fluent in both Swedish and English, in both speech and writing.

It is advantageous if you have knowledge in:

• Embedded systems
• Programming in C, C++
• Systems security

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for certain citizenship.
