Your Role

We are looking for an experienced and committed project manager with a technical profile, who wants to play a key role in driving successful industrialization with external suppliers. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and ensuring suppliers' industrialization capabilities, focusing on capacity and manufacturing planning, resource allocation, and opportunities for cost optimization.

To thrive in this role, you are motivated by working with people in cross-functional teams and managing complex project environments. You collaborate closely with functions such as design, strength, production, and purchasing - always with the company's overall perspective in focus. You are accustomed to operating in an international environment, where a global work arena feels both natural and inspiring.

We are looking for someone who has a good ability to plan and lead teamwork in a structured way. You create clear timelines, work goal-oriented, and have an easy time engaging others and achieving set results.

Your responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the supplier's ability to deliver in accordance with Saab's technical and organizational requirements.
• Collaborating with internal departments to create a comprehensive requirements picture and integrate external suppliers into the Gripen program.
• Monitoring the industrialization process and ensuring that Saab is ready to receive suppliers' deliveries at the project's conclusion.

You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders in a global environment, where collaboration across departmental and national borders is a natural part of the job. The position is based in Linköping, but travel may occur as part of the role.

Your Profile

We are looking for a driven and business-oriented project manager with at least 10 years of experience leading technically complex projects. You have good experience working in a global context and have dealt with issues related to industrialization with external suppliers.

You have a natural ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Collaboration is something you value highly, and you thrive in environments where cooperation and dialogue are in focus. You are attentive, communicative, and contribute with a constructive and solution-oriented approach that strengthens the team's work climate.

You are solution-oriented and can easily make decisions, allowing you to navigate through complex projects and find effective ways forward. At the same time, you are business-minded and have experience in setting requirements for suppliers based on contracts and agreements. To succeed in this role, you need to have good communication skills, both in Swedish and English, and be comfortable handling business discussions in both languages.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, involve requirements for specific citizenship.
