About Us
The outpatient clinics for Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine (BUM) offer specialized care for children and adolescents up to 18 years old who do not require hospitalization.
We collaborate across unit boundaries. We investigate, treat, and follow up on allergies, asthma, intestinal diseases, epilepsy, urinary tract infections, and growth issues. Certain developmental deviations and psychosomatic problems are also treated.
The Hisingen Pediatric and Adolescent Clinic is located in newly built functional premises with a fantastic view over the entire Gothenburg, where we support both children and adolescents from all over Hisingen. The clinic has an established collaboration with Drottning Silvia's Children's and Adolescent Hospital, health centers, BVC, and school health services. Here, pediatricians, pediatric nurses, psychologists, dietitians, and medical secretaries work together. We have a good collaborative climate, satisfied patients, and a varied work environment.
About the Job
The tasks are varied and include, among other things, writing medical records (care documentation), reception work, mail handling, scanning, IT work, patient bookings and invitations, Heroma, invoices, orders, and 1177. Other administrative tasks may be added over time. Your responsibilities also include having a friendly demeanor towards our patients and healthcare colleagues at the clinic as well as on the phone. There is an opportunity for personal development both individually and together with the group. You will have the chance to help shape how your work will be structured.
About You
We are looking for someone with a training in care documentation and preferably very good IT skills. If you have previously worked as a medical secretary with IT responsibilities, it is an advantage, and/or if you have previously worked in a clinic. We would like you to have experience working with digital bookings and medical record systems and also have good knowledge of medical terminology.
Furthermore, you should have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish and preferably English, both verbally and in writing. You should also find it easy to build good relationships and have a genuine interest in being part of the administrative support in the organization.
As a person, you are service-oriented, positive, flexible, and meticulous. You have good collaboration skills and find it easy to work in a team, while also having a good ability to work independently and at times in a somewhat fast-paced environment. Responsibility and initiative are qualities we highly value. It is important that you have good communication skills. A professional approach and a good demeanor towards both patients and colleagues are a given for you.
Conditions
Selection and interviews may take place continuously during the application period.
If you are ready to take the next step in your career and be an important part of our administrative team, we look forward to your application!
Welcome with your application!
