The HR unit is part of the department of legal affairs, HR, and communication. The mission of the HR unit is to support the municipality's managers in employer issues and create the right conditions for them to feel secure in their role as leaders. We provide the operations with tools, support, and processes within the HR area that enable and create conditions for Öckerö municipality to achieve its goals and vision.

Our unit is located in the municipal building and is characterized by a good atmosphere, where we collaborate and socialize across departmental boundaries.

Job Description

We are now looking for an engaged payroll administrator who enjoys building relationships and contributing to high service for our managers and employees. As a payroll administrator with us in Öckerö municipality, we offer you an independent and stimulating job.

Here you will be responsible for direct payroll management within your area of responsibility, including ongoing payroll administration, contract interpretation, quality assurance, calculations, and preparing certificates related to authorities. All reporting is done in the payroll system Personec. In this role, you will closely collaborate with managers and administrators within our operations, and together with your HR colleagues, you will help maintain a high service level towards all municipal operations. You will be part of our HR team consisting of two payroll administrators, a system administrator, a HR process leader, two HR specialists, and a department head. We have a good collaboration in the group and are happy to share knowledge and experience.

Your Background

We are looking for someone with post-secondary education focused on payroll or equivalent, as well as several years of experience in payroll administration. We view experience working in municipal operations and familiarity with the personnel system Personec very positively. As a person, you are engaged, enjoy building relationships, and working closely with the operations. You have the ability to work consultatively and create structure in a dynamic environment. You are solution-oriented, meticulous, and have an eye for detail. You are unpretentious and value the importance of collaboration while being able to work independently and drive your own issues.
