HR Administrator at SiS Youth Home Margretelund
The Swedish National Board of Institutional Care (SiS) is an authority responsible for individually tailored compulsory care for young people with complex psychosocial issues and for adults with substance abuse. SiS also implements secure youth care. We do this at youth homes and homes for adults with substance abuse across the country. At SiS, your work life will be an exciting challenge. SiS Youth Home Margretelund receives non-compulsory school-age girls and boys with psychosocial issues, criminality, and substance abuse. We operate in Lidköping and near Falköping.
Job Description
Do you want to work in a key role and contribute to the daily functioning of our operations? Apply for the HR Administrator position at SiS!
As an HR Administrator, you will be responsible for all types of administration related to HR, such as recruitment, payroll management, archiving, record-keeping, and handling personnel files. You should have a good understanding of laws and regulations related to payroll management and working time agreements. It is also important that you are structured and communicative, as the role involves preparing documentation, compiling, and presenting HR controls to ensure correct payroll payments. You will also plan and coordinate local training in consultation with the institution's managers. Since the authority's payroll payments are managed by the Swedish Agency for Government Employers, you will also communicate with them on a wide range of issues.
Our HR team, consisting of an administrative manager, HR generalist, staffing planner, and HR administrator, works closely together and needs to be able to cover for each other with various tasks. As in all administrative roles, it is difficult to present all the tasks that may arise, which means we are looking for a flexible person who is willing to pitch in where needed. We are an institution with two operational locations, Lidköping and Falköping, so travel may be required.
Qualifications
You have a good ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining an overview of the whole. You are attentive and structured and have a good ability to anticipate needs and plan your work accordingly. Your many points of contact also require you to have strong communication skills and a high level of service.
You should also have:
- Relevant post-secondary education with a focus on administration or HR, or other education combined with work experience that SiS considers equivalent.
- Good knowledge of and understanding of legislation and regulations regarding working hours and payroll management.
- Experience working with HR administration.
- Good knowledge of the Office suite.
It is an advantage if you also have:
- Experience working with personnel, staffing, and financial systems. We use Primula, Besched, and Proceedo.
- Experience in financial administration.

Employment:
The position is a permanent full-time employment starting with a six-month probationary period. Start date according to agreement.
