Description
We are now looking for a development-oriented 1st social worker for the adult and reception unit.
The unit consists of a total of 7 social workers, where 3 work in reception regarding children, youth, and adults, and where 4 work with investigation and follow-up of interventions regarding harmful use and dependence, social psychiatry, and domestic violence. We strive for a good working environment with a reasonable workload, where social workers can perform their work in a legally secure and qualitatively good manner while having time for reflection and collegial support. We apply flexible working hours, and you have the opportunity to apply for vacation exchange. We offer external supervision and professional development.
Responsibilities
As a 1st social worker, you are responsible for the close and everyday support to the social workers in the unit. You act as the closest supervisor where you, on behalf of the unit manager, lead and distribute the work, provide methodological support, and contribute knowledge. Your role also includes being a supervisory and methodological support for the employees (from several units) who work with support conversations based on domestic violence.
You present cases to the social committee's working group and represent the committee in court. You also participate in a working group with the other 1st social workers and coordinators in IFO to strengthen cooperation across unit boundaries and develop the previously described work to free the individual and the network's own resources.
We believe that social change work must be conducted together with the individual to achieve a positive change in their life situation and good conditions for the future. The work includes collaboration with other important partners such as open psychiatry, the labor market unit, and health care.
Qualifications
- A degree in social work or another higher education that the employer deems equivalent, as well as a valid driver's license (B).
- Several years of experience in public authority operations within a budget-controlled environment.
- Experience in a supervisory position within public authority operations.
- The ability to work independently while also appreciating working collaboratively with colleagues and managers to achieve set goals.
- A clear focus on operational development and a high regard for legal security and quality.
- Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
As a person, you are structured and relationship-building. You communicate clearly and maintain a professional approach. Within the organization, there is also a support/LSS unit, so knowledge in this area is also considered an advantage. You gain energy from contributing to others' learning and create conditions for learning to occur. By being interested and creating understanding for others, you promote a respectful work climate. You distinguish between issues and individuals and can make well-founded decisions under time pressure. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Interviews may take place during the recruitment period.
Upon employment, you are expected to submit an acceptable extract from the criminal record, which you can request from the police authority's website.
Warm welcome with your application!
