Summer Job as a Tim and Summer Substitute at Lefflergården

At Bräcke diakoni, we are now looking for tim and summer substitutes for Lefflergården, a residence within support for people with disabilities where we support adults in their daily lives and in their journey towards increased independence.

Your Job with Us

As a tim and summer substitute at Lefflergården, you will help create security in daily life and enable self-determination for individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities. You will work as needed, from occasional shifts during spring and autumn to longer scheduled periods during the summer, in a team with clear structure and close collaboration. Your job may involve:

• supporting daily routines and care,
• encouraging and participating in activities and social contexts,
• using alternative communication to facilitate understanding,
• documenting and performing medication delegation - after training and guidance from a nurse,
• collaborating with colleagues and others around the resident.

Who We Are Looking For

You are over 18 years old and want to work extra alongside your studies or another job. Perhaps you are studying to become a support assistant or nursing assistant – or you already have experience. The most important thing for us is how you meet people. You are attentive and respectful in your interactions, structured, collaborative, and take initiative when needed.

Your Qualifications:

• Experience in care and support work - from jobs or internships.
• You speak and write fluently in Swedish and have basic computer skills.
• Care and support education and experience in LSS or support for people with disabilities is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Bräcke LSS Residence Lefflergården

Lefflergården is a cozy LSS residence with six apartments for adults with autism and intellectual disabilities. Here, staff are available around the clock to support, listen, and build trusting relationships. We work long-term and closely with the residents, focusing on self-determination and a life that reflects who each person is.
