About the Job

The task of the Employment Unit is to provide support and interventions for unemployed individuals to find work or study with self-sufficiency.

We work individually based on the participant's needs and offer, among other things; motivational conversations, work training, and various forms of group activities.

Job Responsibilities

As a coach, you will work with our participants both individually and in groups. In the Employment Unit, we work solution-focused and structured, based on belief in the individual and parallel interventions.

Collaboration and teamwork are a significant part of the job, and we work together with other departments and authorities to find pathways forward for our participants. Documentation of personal cases is also part of the job, as well as handling other administrative tasks that participants may need support with. In the role of coach, you need to be creative and empathetic. Good communication and flexibility are crucial for the position.

Who Are You?

You are a behavioral scientist, occupational therapist, social worker, or have another higher education that the employer assesses as equivalent. If you are a licensed physiotherapist or occupational therapist with experience in healthcare, we see this as an asset as we are looking for a colleague who can lead groups and work with processes towards healthcare to assess work capacity.

To succeed well, we also believe that you have experience in conducting conversations, both individually and in groups, and have experience working from a diversity perspective.

You are a social and outgoing person who finds it easy to create new contacts. You have the ability to maintain a high pace in your work and you often have several tasks going on simultaneously. You can easily create an overview in both thought and work, and you are good at planning and organizing. It is an advantage if you have knowledge of conversation methodology, the 7TWENTY method, or MI. Experience with authority exercise is also a plus. Since the job includes documentation responsibility, it requires computer skills and the ability to express yourself in speech and writing. We place great importance on personal suitability.

A valid driver’s license (B) is required.

Conditions

Permanent employment. A probationary period may apply. Start date according to agreement.
